How do I know what size I need?

Finding the right size is essential for effective recovery. If you are working with a physician or pelvic floor physical therapist, they can recommend the exact starting size for your condition. Some men require the full progressive set, while others only need a few specific sizes.

We offer seven distinct sizes to cover every stage of therapy, featuring both one of the slimmest and largest dilator profiles on the market—manufactured right here in the USA.

  • Size 1 & Size 2: Size 1 is roughly the width of a pencil, while Size 2 is comparable to a small pinky finger. These are designed for severe strictures or acute post-operative healing.
  • Size 3 & Size 4: If you can insert a finger with relative ease, starting with a Size 3 or 4 is ideal for breaking up deeper muscle tightness and restoring elasticity.
  • Size 5 & Beyond: For advanced recovery, expanding flexibility, or working up to full anatomical function, higher sizes help you progress safely to your end target.

Therapy should challenge your tissue, but it should never cause unbearable distress. On a 1–10 pain scale, aim to keep discomfort at or below a 3 or 4. While initial insertion may feel intense or tight, that sharp sensation should settle within a couple of minutes as the tissue relaxes. If high levels of pain persist throughout your session, step down one size. Healing requires consistent, manageable progression—not forcing through severe pain.
